cataract surgery as a consultant in the Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion
in Edinburgh for 21 years, having started with intra-capsular cataract
extraction, moved on to extra-capsular cataract extraction, and I was
one of the first surgeons in Edinburgh to perform cataract extraction
using phaco-emulsification.
Cataract surgery has changed enormously in recent years, and I believe
that I bring a balanced perspective to the decision as to which type
